Stainless steel investment castings (such as widely used material of ASTM 304, 304L, 316 and 316L ) are primarily used for corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and they typically do not require plating and additional machining operations, this allows the customers to have very little waste of raw material and reducing overall costs
